A garage is a depot where your VTC parks trucks. Each garage contains a number of slots, and every truck you own must occupy exactly one slot. Owning more garages (or upgrading existing ones) is how you grow fleet capacity.
Buying a garage
Each additional garage costs more than the last. The city you choose determines which contracts you can take from there, so plan locations carefully.
Slots
Every new garage starts with a base number of slots. Buy slot upgrades on the Manage page up to the garage's cap. Removing a slot only works when it is empty and gives no refund.
Specialisation
Set a cargo specialisation (heavy haul, refrigerated, hazardous, ...) to earn a base-income bonus on contracts whose cargo matches. Changing it costs money and has a cooldown.
Levels & upgrades
Levelling up a garage costs more each time but lifts the slot cap and unlocks deeper one-off upgrades (workshop, security, fuel depot, ...). Each upgrade gives a specific perk and persists until you remove it.
Upkeep
Garages charge a monthly upkeep to your VTC bank - billed once per billing cycle, not daily. Each garage's running cost is made up of:
- Garage base - a flat fee per garage (currently ƒ25,000), plus a small charge for each paid slot beyond the free first three (currently ƒ1,000 per slot).
- Active upgrades - each fuel-station, maintenance and service-range upgrade you keep active adds its own monthly upkeep, which scales with the size of the garage (the more slots, the higher the upgrade upkeep).
- Trucks - a per-truck monthly fee (currently ƒ3,000) is charged only for trucks that ran at least one job that month. Idle trucks are free, so parking a truck you are not using costs nothing.

If the bank cannot cover the bill, the invoice goes unpaid and the garages are suspended - upgrades lapse and new purchases are blocked until you settle up. See Bank for paying invoices and recovering from suspension.
